So, I was at Colleen's house today, just hanging out with her in her room, when she started getting these texts. I didn't really think much of it, and didn't really ask what they were about other than who sent them. She didn't really answer, so I dropped it. I didn't really think it was that important, yanno?
( On texts and rude idiots. )
On the bright side, I finally finished season 3 of Supernatural :D

Ehhhh, it's snowing >_< I don't really mind snow at first, but once it starts going...ugh. Not fun,
I'm pretty sure there's a Weezer concert tonight over at the rave. I can't go, but still. It'd be nice, though.
Also. Kelly! Chapter 2 of Sakura Gari is so cute ^_^ I know it's probably gonna be major mood whiplash when I get to chapter 3, but still :D

Firstly. Olympus Coliseum will be in BbS. I think it was mentioned that we'd see a young Hercules in this game, so that doesn't really surprise me. But guess who else will be there?
ZACK :DDDD
And Jesse McCartney's been confirmed as Ven. Though...how could he not?

Alright, so the Nostalgia Critic just reviewed Jack Frost. Not the one with the evil killer snowman, but the one with the dad being reincarnated as a snowman. With Michael Keaton. Anybody seen it? Anyway, there's this bully kid, the one always doing the huge snowball fights. Wears goggles sometimes, has spiky-ish blond hair. Rory Buck, I think his name is.
Anybody besides me think he looks a little like Hayner? Here's the best screencap I could find:

I dunno, it reminds me of him. Sort of.
Maybe it's the hair.

So, I tried to do NaNo this year. Really did. And through a mix of various circumstances, I only got around 10k words written. But that's actually pretty good, for me. I don't usually stay with a story for this long; I write short stories much more often. So, I think I'll stay with the story, write when I feel like it, because I really want to see how it'll end. Starting it the way I did, I pretty much had to just jump headlong into it, and now I don't want to let it go xD
I fell asleep after coming home from the library today, and had a...slightly odd dream. Apparently, Mr. Gill has a younger, less pedophile-looking brother who runs an underground store at the school that sells various anime merchandise and old video games. On DS cartridges, for some reason, as well. I think this 'store' has been in my dreams before, but I never really noticed it as much.
Also, I learned what a Byronic hero was today. And Greta and I determined that if Genesis had never defected, then most, if not all, of the events in the FFVII Compilation wouldn't have happened. At least, not in the same way.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody :D Hope yours was more fun than mine. Oh, sure, hanging out with Pat and Katie is always cool, but Billy couldn't come and Connor was spastic and Grandma and Papa were...well, themselves. So, it got interesting. And I swear, if salted almonds weren't so delicious I would never blanch another one again. God, it takes forever to get done.
Guess what? My mom finally got a job! Like, a job that doesn't involve working at Boston Store on almost-minimal wage. So, that's exciting and awesome. I'm really happy for her :)
Though, she's still going to work at Boston Store for a while on the side so she can get back on her feet, as she said. So, she has to work tomorrow. At a department store on Black Friday. Lucky her D: (Though, at least she isn't scheduled to work at opening time, 4:00 AM. She has to come in at 9, though D:)
And apparently it's '90s weekend on 102.1. Pretty awesome, I think. Waking up to Mr. Jones is always pretty cool. And I finally figured out what time the 'Flannel Flashback' is on, though it's not like I'd be able to listen to it except if I had a weekday off. It starts at noon, and I really don't have radio access at school in most places, even during lunch. So that's really annoying.
Also, to anybody who remembers me ranting about my laptop issues a while ago, Pablo determined that there's really little chance of it working again. Not that I was really holding out any hope for her recovery at this point (I mean, we've gone through 4 different power cords, and she's been out of commission since August), but still. It really sucks, because almost all of the music Pat gave me was on there, as well as a lot of pictures and semi-important files. On the bright side, Mom said that she doesn't want to have to spend $100 to fix an old, prone-to-overheating computer when we could probably spend a few hundred more and get a new (or refurbished, more likely) one. One that doesn't have issues coming out the ass. One that maybe lasts more than five minutes without a power cord. You probably know where I'm going with this. And now that she's got this new job, it's probably got a better chance of happening. So. Awesome.

Also, I went and saw A Christmas Carol with my grandma. I liked it well enough, but it definitely wasn't as good as the play. Though, I might be biased, since I've seen the play almost every Christmas since I was born :) And the random chase scenes throughout London really threw me off, because...really, why did they need to be there? It's just filler, and in this case, it really distracted from the main point of the movie. Though, Ignorance and Want? Yeah. They were awesome.
Mainly just went to see Mikey, to be honest. :) He was mentioned in the credits!

I can never decide whether to laugh or facepalm when I go listen to a song I think I've never heard before, and realize that it's one of the songs I loved when I was younger, but the car radio didn't have one of those screens that told you who the band was. Or the title, for that matter. So, I'll be poking around youtube and find something, play it, and then the whole "Holy shit, I know this!" factor sets in.
It never gets old.

So, I dug out Audioslave's Like A Stone after not hearing it for ever. And ended up just chilling with it on repeat for like, an hour, or something like that. And then decided to turn on the radio.
Guess which song was just starting on the awesome that is 102.1?
Oh, and Kelly? I'm finally on chapter 2 of Sakura Gari. I'm determined to actually get through it this time xD

Finally scored Disturbed's Indestructible and Incubus' Make Yourself. Hell yeah. Now I only have to find the other twenty million albums I want. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm trying to discover some awesome new bands :)

So, I was listening to the radio in Colleen's car on the way back home from LifeTeen (my annoying-ass confirmation class), and this song I'd never heard before came on. But...it sounded kind of familiar. And I was thinking that it was reminding me of Linkin Park, but...different somehow. Like, the voice sounded like Chester Bennington's (and I should know, I went through a huge obsession with LP that lasted for around two years, and I still listen to them occasionally), but I'd never heard this song before, so I figured it might be a coincidence.
Nope.
Turns out, when I got home and checked the 102.1 website, it was the song Crawl Back In, by Dead by Sunrise. AKA the other band that Chester's in.
Yeah.

( SOFA trip )

Right now all I want is a huge bag of Sweedish Fish and Jolly Ranchers. And apparently, after dying it, my hair both tastes and smells like cherries. I gotta wonder what the blue or green dye would smell like...

I have to say, doing NaNo is actually really fun. I mean, sure, I'm only at half the word count I should be by this point, but this is still the longest thing I've ever written that's a real story, and I'm really enjoying it. At this point I'm just throwing things in as I think of them, but I think that's okay for how I'm doing this. I barely have a plot, only have three somewhat developed characters, and have really schitzo tech going on here. I think I might have a pair of incestuous twins, as well. I say think mainly because I don't know if it's reciprocated on one of the girl's side yet. I'm sure I'll figure it out soon enough.
But I love it.
Really, I do. Right now I'm not worrying about everything sounding perfect or making total sense, which is a major issue I have when I write normally, since I try to edit as I go, and it just doesn't work as well as I'd like. I'm just going with it, not caring if I ramble (which happens a lot in the viewpoint of the character I'm in right now, for the record. I need to stop reading Marigold. I think Axel's having an effect on me D:) or if I need to fix something, or anything like that. It makes things so much easier, I have to say. I know some things that'll happen in the future, but figure that whenever I get to them, I'll get to them. No big deal, don't have to rush. I'll just let Kaila and Marie banter about silly things in a coffee shop for now, and find the real plot later.

I learned a few minutes ago from my mom that yesterday she got asked out by a 20 year old. DDD: Her response was along the lines of "Dude, I've got a 16 year old daughter back at home, no thanks".
Thank you, Mom. Just...just thank you.
Also, SOFA trip tomorrow! I get to sleep in and go to Chicago for the day :) Awesome.
